It’s important to utilise more than one type of marketing to target your audience. All too often companies tend to rely on the ‘power of social media’ and for people to happen to scroll upon their organic, non-paid social post.
There are lots of different types of methods and channels companies may use to target their audience – from email marketing to social media (organic and paid), Google Ads to target search engine terms, boosting Facebook posts and SMS text marketing, just to name a few.
Last week I sent an SMS text campaign for Brooklands College and tomorrow will be reproducing a similar campaign in an email newsletter format. The aim of this SMS campaign was a gentle and subtle reminder about Brooklands College as a brand or local college rather than pushy “Choose Brooklands” campaigns and such alike.
